Yes, we know our stuff.

Headquartered in Boulder, CO, IMM was founded in 2006 by Wayne Chavez, Gisella Walter and Adam Edelman. They all saw a lack of innovation, accountability and results in the agency space. Joining forces, they created a new agency paradigm. IMM is a direct-response-focused agency that is compensated solely when its efforts generate actual value for client partners. They clearly hit a nerve – IMM continues to grow exponentially with no slowdown in sight.

Wayne Chavez – President

Wayne is a pioneer in interactive advertising and a 19-year veteran of direct marketing. Prior to starting IMM, Wayne was a Partner at Soho Digital, a full-service online ad agency in New York City. He oversaw strategy and business development. Wayne's clients included Monster.com, United Airlines, Chase, and NBC. Soho Digital was acquired in 2004. His earlier online experience includes founding a venture-funded online retailer in 1999.

Wayne’s interactive career began at Grupo Televisa in 1992 – where he helped launch and operate the company’s direct marketing division across its network, cable, print, radio and outdoor advertising assets. Wayne also successfully launched the Shred-it franchise in Argentina, the world’s leading document disposal service. His clients included Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, Compaq, Citibank, and FedEx.

Wayne holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University.

Adam Edelman – Executive Vice President, Client Strategy

Adam has spent the last six years making millions of dollars for our clients. His strategic, creative and operational leadership has been a game-changer for advertisers such as Chili's, AT&T, DirectBuy, Cisco Systems, Quiznos, the U.S. Army and many others.

Adam brings nearly two decades of experience in digital services and marketing to IMM. Prior to co-founding IMM, he served as Managing Director at GE’s media distribution business unit. Adam was also Regional Director for the DIRECTV Group, where his responsibilities included direct marketing and affiliate management. His previous clients include News Corp., IDT, Time Warner and MTV. Prior to joining DIRECTV, Adam marketed broadband Internet access for a Silver Lake Partners-backed media company. His early online experience included co-founding a venture-backed ecommerce platform in 1999.

Adam holds a BA/BS in Philosophy and Mathematics from St. John’s College.

Gina Lee – Sr. VP of Client Services

Prior to joining IMM, Gina worked in the operations group at Google. Her responsibilities included project management, reporting, and daily operational support. Gina also served as Director of Networks & Traffic at Soho Digital. Her earliest experience included a production management role at MBC Direct Media, a pioneer in email marketing.

Gina holds a BA in mass communications with a minor in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

Ken O'Brien – Sr. VP of Engineering

Ken brings with him over 20 years of technical and managerial experience in the areas of software development, quality assurance, and operations. He has worked at numerous start-ups in his career and has a solid track record of building, contributing to, and growing highly successful and motivated technical teams. Ken's entrepreneurial spirit has been seasoned by two successful IPO's, participation in Mergers & Acquisitions activity (from both sides), running his own consulting company, as well as a couple of less-successful ventures, for which he says he learned at least as much as the successes. Ken is responsible for the day to day operations of IMM's software development and quality assurance teams.

Prior to joining IMM, Ken was the VP of Engineering at ColdSpark, an enterprise email messaging company, managing the software engineering and testing teams within the organization. ColdSpark was acquired by BakBone Software in 2009. Previous to that, he was the Director of Operations and Client Integrations at Oxlo Systems, Inc., a messaging middleware provider to the automotive industry. Prior to that, Ken was the VP of Software Engineering at Raindance/InterCall (NASDAQ: RNDC, acquired by West Corp in 2006), an industry leader in phone and web conferencing solutions. Ken started his career with freelance technical consulting followed by a 10+ year tenure at Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a telephony solutions company, where he consulted with nearly every major telephone company in the country as a Sr. Software Engineer/Systems Architect. His clients throughout his career have included Honeywell, IBM, GTE, American Express, Bank of America, Fidelity, JP Morgan/Chase, Qwest, AT&T, GTE, most of the Regional Bell Operating Companies, Ford Motors, Toyota, and Chevrolet, among others.

Ken holds a BS in computer science with minors in mathematics and business from the University of Denver.
